i absolutely love deltaune!!! i am also a fan of undertale (since 2016. . . i was only 11 or 12) it’s genuinely one of, if not the best game i’ve ever played aside from undertale. no, i can’t choose which one is better and i won’t be haha

honestly it’s changed my view on games entirely, i remember being so into undertale as a child and as i got older i slowly drifted away from the game (not toby fox’s music tho). . . it was always in the back of my head but lost interest for whatever reason. when deltarune released, i got back into it briefly but at the time, since i believe only either ch1 or ch1 and ch2 was out, i lost interest again quick as i personally felt like there wasn’t enough in the game yet for me to. . . geek out about? idk. at that time, it was a very unfinished game imo

when chapter 3 and 4 came out whew it really captured my attention. first thing was the chapter 3 guitar-hero-like minigame. i really love guitar hero (i frequently play clone hero, i literally play undertale and deltarune songs on clone hero like i was geeking out) and second was the immense incline in the amount of story and in other places in the game. i felt chapter 3+4 really gave us more of an insight on what’s truly going on in the game, with chapter 1 being sort of silly and vague and chapter 2 having slightly more information and things going on in general, but we didn’t get anywhere near an explanation for anything. the new chapters really touched on so much going on and the way toby added to the ongoing story was really great, in my opinion.

my favorite character is susie if it wasn’t already obvious haha!! it’s funny, at first i didn’t like her because i thought she was really rude and mean. but as she started actually reveal her personality and feelings i understood her character a lot deeper. i feel like she’s a very important character in the story, and she pretty much makes her own rules. she’s in a game, yet when she wants to do something, she will do it. she’s the only person who can do this from what we know (besides kris sometimes resisting our actions, idk if that counts) i just know she’s going to do, or be something big in deltarune. anyways i’m so hyped for chapter 5
